The course setup is similar to other Health Medicine and Life Sciences master courses at the University of Maastricht, and several interdisciplinary courses will be offered to master students of different disciplines. In practice, this means that in year 1, block 1.1 is shared by all students from Cardiovascular Biology Master, the Nutrion & Metabolism master and the Molecular Life Science master programs, of which ODB is one. Thereafter the block will be largely profile specific. The practical training periods are mostly orientation specific as well; the preparative block 2.1 will be a common training exercise again shared with all master students.
