Ranking of peer reviewed papers over the period 2000 – 2006

For qualitative analysis the impact factor and the ranking of the journal by the journal Citation Reports Science Edition is used. In this list journals are ranked by impact factor within subject categories. Per subject category the highest 25% journals form quartile 1, the second highest 25% form quartile 2, the 25% second lowest journals form quartile 3, and the 25% lowest journals form quartile 4. For each peer reviewed paper it was analyzed in what quartile within its subject category it belongs:
