For those who are interested in taking a look 'behind the scenes' of medical departments such as radiology and radiotherapy the Maastricht University Medical Centre will open its doors for visitors. At the premises of the Oncology Centre will be an information market and people can take guided tours to see the laboratories and receive information about the latest research technologies. In the MAASTRO Clinic explanations will be given about the innovative treatments of cancer.
The Open Day on Friday is focused on professionals, the Saturday event is open for all public.

PRESS RELEASE
The executive board Maastricht UMC+ has appointed Prof. F. Ramaekers, PhD, to the position of director ad interim of GROW - School for Oncology and Developmental Biology.
Prof. Ramaekers is appointed as of 1 March 2009 and will function as interim scientific director of GROW until a new scientific director is appointed.
The executive board Maastricht UMC+ would like to thank Prof.dr.ir. P. van den Brandt for his commitment and contribution to GROW - School for Oncology and Developmental Biology during the past years.
