GROW Young Investigators

The GROW Young Investigators comprise a group of junior staff members from the School for Oncology and Developmental Biology. These enthusiastic and motivated investigators meet on a regular basis to discuss topics related to research activities, cross-departmental collaborations,  grant opportunities, and career development. The GROW Young investigators also participate in a custom-made training program including sessions on media training, effective communication and leadership skills. These activities are supported by GROW and the Young Researchers Academy of the University of Maastricht.

The goals of the GROW Young Investigators are:
1. To strengthen the position of junior scientific staff member within GROW and Maastricht University;
2. To reinforce inter-disciplinary collaborations within GROW, leading to improved scientific output and grant opportunities;
3. To further develop personal, professional and leadership skills;
4. To contribute to the policy making of GROW.
